NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) declared the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) fourth semester result on Wednesday, May 22.
The NIOS D.El.Ed fourth semester result was announced soon on its official website — nios.ac.in and dled.nios.ac.in
Candidates, who appeared for the examination in 2019, can check their results by visiting the NIOS official result page — https://www.nios.ac.in/examresult.aspx.
Candidates are required to login with their registration ID and date of birth to obtain the NIOS D.El.Ed results.
The NIOS D.El.Ed fourth semester examination was conducted from March 26 to 30, 2019. The NIOS D.El.Ed fourth semester was conducted for - Course-508: Learning in Art, Health & Physical and Work Education at Elementary Level, Course-509: Learning Social Science at Upper Primary Level and Course-510: Learning Science at Upper Primary Level.
Official notification says “All are requested to visit only www.nios.ac.in or dled.nios.ac.in for the Result or for any information/notification related to D.El.ED or call to 18001809393.”

NIOS D.El.Ed: Objectives
The objectives of the programme are to:
1) Enable the teachers to understand and address diversity in his/her context;
2) Empower teacher to improve quality of classroom processes/transaction;
3) Develop capacity in teachers to promote child friendly, child centered processes in school;
4) Familiarise the teachers with appropriate teaching learning processes;
5) Facilitate teachers to develop leadership & problem solving skills among children;
6) Sensitise teachers to ensure child rights and related issue.
The Elementary Teacher Education Programme through open and distance learning system is intended primarily for upgrading professional development i.e. skill, competencies, attitudes and understanding to make teaching and learning more effective for working (in-service) teachers in the elementary schools.
The NIOS is organizing this Diploma in Elementary Education or D.El.Ed. course for teachers who are currently employed in schools but not qualified enough for teaching. The Ministry of Human Resource Development or MHRD announced the NIOS D.El.Ed. examination for untrained teachers in 2017 after bringing in an amendment to the Right to Education Act.
The result of 3rd D.El.Ed exam was declared in February.
