Greater Noida: Jobless for months, man hangs self

GREATER NOIDA: A 43-year-old man was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his house in Eldeco View society in Kasna on Friday morning. The deceased, Nitin Dutta, left behind a suicide note in which he said that he was taking the extreme step since he was frustrated with his life.
Police said Dutta used to live with his parents in the housing society and had divorced his wife 10 years ago.
Dutta’s parents discovered his body around 9am and alerted the police.
The suicide note also mentioned that since he had not made anyone his nominee, so all his savings should be handed over his parents.
Dutta’s brother-in-law Vivek Chibber said that the deceased was also unemployed for the past few months. “He had earlier worked with LG as a sales person, but he lost his job and was in depression since then. He was a bright man. I am just shocked that he chose to end his life so soon,” said Chibber.
Ajay Kumar, the SHO of Kasna police station said, “Prima facie Nitin Dutta committed suicide during the night. The body was sent for an autopsy. No case has been filed.”
