Police: Man intentionally drove into ocean in North Hampton

Driver will likely be charged

A man is expected to be charged after police say he intentionally drove his car off the road and toward the ocean in North Hampton on Friday night. The 2010 Honda Insight that the 43-year-old was driving landed partially in the ocean, North Hampton police said in a press release. The crash happened about 6 p.m. on Ocean Boulevard at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue.The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. North Hampton police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call them at 603-964-2198.
