It's never remarked upon, but it seems worth mentioning that the only white person on The Graham Norton Show tonight is Graham Norton. Kevin Hart is there, spruiking the sequel to The Secret Life of Pets. Will Smith pops up – always a terrific raconteur. And there are two terrific women: Naomi Scott (who stars with Smith in the new live-action Aladdin movie); and Octavia Spencer, who's finally moving up from "best supporting" to lead in her own right.
