Bhagalpur: Boy protests sexual abuse of kin, killed

BHAGALPUR: A 12-year-old boy was shot dead for protesting sexual harassment of his family members by ruffians at Lailakh village under the Sabour police station area in Bhagalpur district late on Friday.
Aman, son of Mantu Mahaldar, was killed allegedly by one Rohit Yadav and his armed accomplices for opposing them from sexual harassment of his family members during a yajna in the village on Friday.His protest led to commotion and the accused fled. Aman’s family members returned home.
Later, Rohit and his armed goons raided Mantu’s house. While the adults of the family ran out of the house on seeing the miscreants, Aman was shot at. He was rushed to the Bhagalpur medical college where doctors declared him brought dead.
