Cave where Modi meditated can be rented for Rs. 990/day

After high-octane campaigning for 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chose a trip to Uttarakhand to unwind himself.
He spent 17 hours meditating in a cave, near Kedarnath shrine, and his visit sparked a debate.
And now it has been revealed that you can rent the cave, equipped with basic amenities, for Rs. 990/day.

The cave has all facilities for a comfortable stay
Facilities
The cave is named Rudra Meditation Cave and was set up last year. The cave offers a splendid view of Kedarnath and Bhairavnath temples.
Apart from basic facilities like drinking water, electricity (with charging points), and a bed, the guests also get morning tea, breakfast, lunch, evening tea, and dinner.
A bell to call the attendant is also available round the clock.
The tariff was brought down in absence of customers
Prices
The cave is operated by Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN). The body calls it "modern meditation cave" which explains why they set up a telephone to call the facility's manager in case of an emergency.
Initially, the tariff of the cave was Rs. 3,000/day but prices were slashed after it didn't find any takers.
The cave is located 1 km above the holy shrine.
You can't rent the cave without passing mandatory tests
Rules
If you want to spend a few days in solace, you need to follow rules.
For one, you will be required to undergo two medical tests- at Guptkashi and at Kedarnath. You can only rent the cave after being declared physically and mentally fit.
Secondly, the cave can only be rented out to one person. Moreover, tourists have to book the cave for minimum three days.
Apparently, it was PM Modi who suggested building caves
Idea
As per reports, the Rudra Meditation cave was built on PM Modi's suggestion. And now that he has visited the cave, it won't be surprising if bookings swell this season.
Emerging from the cave, PM Modi told reporters that he didn't ask for election victory but reflected on his work.
After spending time alone at Kedarnath, PM Modi went to Badrinath on Sunday.
