Vivek Oberoi reveals he was mistaken for PM Narendra Modi during Modi biopic shoot in Gandhinagar
Vivek Oberoi unveiled a new poster of his soon-to-release biopic on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday morning. The actor had Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for company at the launch event that took place in Nagpur.
In a video posted by TimesNow on their social media handle, Vivek can be seen sharing an interesting anecdote from the film's shoot. Vivek said, “I remember I was shooting at Mahatma Gandhi Mandir in Gandhinagar sporting the Modi look and people thought that I was the real Modi and they started shouting ‘Modi, Modi.’ Modi is a leader who has done a phenomenal job and the people have supported him wholeheartedly.”

The biopic, titled PM Narendra Modi, is now slated to release on May 24, a day after the declaration of the poll results.
The film was earlier slated to release on April 11, the first phase of voting in the elections, but was later postponed following an order by the Election Commission of India.
