Hampshire will look at "interpreting" ICC regulations over the availability of England batsman James Vince for the Royal London One-Day Cup Final on Saturday.

Vince's performances for England during their recent ODI and T20i series against Pakistan could see him picked as part of a 15-man World Cup squad, which is announced on Tuesday.

Under ICC World Cup regulations, if is was selected for England's World Cup squad, Vince would no longer be allowed to play in other competitions.

However, Hampshire chairman Rod Bransgrove believes the ICC regulation is "ambivalent" and therefore open to interpretation.

Hampshire are seeking clarification from the ICC as to whether Vince would be able to play in the Lord's final, even if he was part of England's World Cup squad.
