IAA India Chapter lends helping hand to Fani survivors

Two weeks after Cyclone Fani hit Odisha, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake, the International Advertising Association (IAA) India Chapter, released a multimedia campaign - #OdishaNeedsYourLove. The campaign was created to raise awareness of the urgent need to contribute towards the rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts to support survivors.

In a press release, Punit Goenka, president IAA India Chapter, says, “There is so much to be done to rebuild the affected areas of Odisha. This is the marcom industry's way of showing how communication can be used as a force for good. I appeal to all sections of the industry to do their bit and contribute to this effort."

Conceptualised by Madison BMB, the campaign aims to get people on their feet and do their bit to help rebuild Odisha. Meanwhile, the government of Odisha has won applause for its commendable work in restoring some form of order after the devastation of Fani. With speed and dedication, it did so in a short span after the massive loss of infrastructure in the state.
