National Commission for Women issues notice to Vivek Oberoi for his tweet; Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli calls them "Fraud"

Vivek Oberoi's tweet has sparked a controversy! In the wake of exit polls of Lok Sabha 2019, the actor posted a tweet which compared the polls to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's relationship's from the past to the present.

Vivek Oberoi's tweet has sparked a controversy! In the wake of exit polls of Lok Sabha 2019, the actor posted a tweet which compared the polls to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's relationship's from the past to the present.
However, it didn't go well with everyone, including some Bollywood celebs. Even the National Commission of Women issued a notice to the actor asking for his explanation for the same.


Now, Kangana Ranaut's sister took to her Twitter account to slam the government body and called it "fraud" and said they are the reason behind the death of feminism in India. She further stated that no one came forward to help her sister when she complained against a big celeb of Bollywood.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, talking about his tweet, Vivek said, "People are saying apologise. I have no problem in apologising but tell me what wrong have I done? If I have done something wrong I will apologise. I dont think I have done anything wrong. What's wrong in it? Somebody tweeted a meme and I laughed at it".
Vivek will be next seen in 'PM Narendra Modi', a biopic on based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Helmed by Omung Kumar B, the film will hit the theatres on May 24.
