Razorback baseball places a school-record nine on All-SEC teams
The All-SEC teams were released today and featured a school-record nine Arkansas players on either the second team, all-freshman team, or all-defensive team. Six of the 12 All-SEC Second team selections come from the Diamond Hogs including Trevor Ezell, Casey Martin, Dominic Fletcher, Heston Kjerstad, Matt Goodheart, and Matt Cronin. On the SEC All-Freshman team, Christian Franklin, Connor Noland, and Patrick Wicklander get nods--the first ones of their career. Named to the SEC All-Defense team were Dominic Fletcher and Trevor Ezell. That marks Fletcher's second all-defensive selection of his career. The 11 selections lead all SEC teams. Arkansas was also the only school that placed multiple players on the all-freshman team. Plus, this marks the third year in school history that the Razorbacks have had two or more freshman named to an all-conference team. Arkansas plays the winner of Ole Miss and Missouri on Wednesday in the upcoming SEC Tournament from Hoover, Al.
