As part of improving service delivery within the Northern Cape Province, the Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Risimati Shivuri handed over 32 Ford Ranger vehicles to different police stations and units.

The handing over ceremony took place on Monday 20 May 2019, at the K9 Unit in Kimberley. The Detectives received 24 Ford Ranger bakkies while Visible Policing received eight Ford Ranger bakkies.

With the vastness and limitation of the resources within the province, the vehicles will assist the members to attend to cases and complaints in time. Lt Gen Shivuri cautioned the members to take good care of the vehicles and not misuse them.
