BSEĀ OdishaĀ Board 10th Result 2019 @bseodisha.nic.in HIGHLIGHTS: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has declared the result of class 10 board exams on May 21 (Tuesday), 2019 at a press conference held in Cuttack. Over 5.23 lakh students who appeared for the BSE Odisha Board matric exams can check their result at the official websites, bseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in. The BSE Odisha Board class 10 exams were conducted from February 23 to March 8, 2019.

This year, the pass percentage of Odisha 10th result 2019 has dropped by 5.45 per cent as compared to last year. A total of 70.78 per cent students cleared the BSE Odisha matric exam against 76.23 per cent last year. The School and Mass Education department secretary, Pradipta Mohapatra, while announcing the result said that the decline in pass percentage is caused due to strict security measures adopted by the Odisha Board.

Candidates need to download the result and take a print out. It will act as a provisional result. The final and official mark sheets will be available from respective schools, later.
In the madhyama stream, 84.62 per cent students passed the exam. The overall pass percentage for Odisha Board regular schools is 70.78 per cent.
From last year, it was made mandatory that students will not appear for their class 10 exam from their native schools and an exam centre will be allotted to them.
The School and Mass Education department secretary, Pradipta Mohapatra, today declared the result for Odisha matric exams. The BSE Odisha class 10 result 2019 was declared at a press conference held in Cuttack at 9 am and the result link was activated within minutes. Over 5,61,079 students had appeared for the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha class 10 exam of which 3,97,125 students have passed. The overall pass percentage is 70.78 per cent which is a decrease of nearly 6 per cent against last year’s 76.23 per cent.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated students who passed Odisha Board class 10 result and wished them good luck in their future through his official twitter handle.
BSE Odisha class 10 result has been declared and students will now be able to check their answer sheets and OMR key as well as correct answer key online at the official websites - bseodisha.nic.in and orrisaresults.nic.in.

Despite strict measures to prevent cheating, several cases of cheating and alleged leaks were reported. Those whose exams were cancelled and those who have failed can appear for supplementary exams scheduled to be conducted in June, 2019. Read full story here
The Odisha board class 10 answer key and OMR sheets to be available for all the students, said BSE Odisha president. She added, the toppers will not be officially announced and the schools and district level authorities will calculate and compare the result and announce the top scorers.
The answer sheets of students who have appeared for BSE Odisha class 10 result 2019 will be uploaded at the official websites for students to check at 2 pm.
Those who have not cleared the exam will be eligible to appear for the supplementary exam. This would give them a second chance to the students, in case the students clear the supplementary exam, they will be considered a pass. The exam will be held in July, 2019.
A total of 2,05,470 girls cleared the exam while 1,91,655 boys pass the exam. Thus, once again the pass percentage is much higher in girls as compared to boys in Odisha 10th result 2019.
In BSE Odisha class 10 regular mode, 1181 students secured A1 and 9938 students secured A2 grade. A1 grade is given to those who have secured above 90% and A2 given to those who get 80-90% marks.
No candidate secured A1 grade in BSE Odisha class 10 exam in open school catgeory. A total of 21 students obtained B1 and 297 students got B2 grade in Odisha Board matric exam.

Today, the result of open as well as regular schools affiliated to BSE Odisha has been announced. While the pass percentage of class 10 regular mode declined by 5.4% this year. In open school out of over 11,000 who appeared for the exam, 6567 students passed the exam.
Addressing media persons, the School and Mass Education department secretary, Pradipta Mohapatra said that the pass percentage could have dipped because of strict security measures that the Board has adopted this year. In a move to prevent cheating, the Odisha board has installed CCTV cameras in schools, following CBSE exam pattern, Odisha board had also put different sets of question papers for matric exam. From last year, it was made mandatory that students will not appear from exam from their native schools and an exam centre will be allotted to them.

82 schools affiliated to Odisha board have declared 0 results, implying that no student who appeared from the school have cleared the exam. The BSE president made these announcements. The result will be available to check at 11 am on the official websites
A total of 289 schools have shown 100 per cent result which means that all students who appeared for the exam from this school have passed.
President of BSE, Jahan Ara has declared the class 10 result for Odisha board in open and regular mode. Stduents can check their result online from 11 am onwards.
As the website is down, students can check their result via SMS ass well. All they need to do is tye RESULT<space>OR10<space>Roll number and send it to 56263.
With less than 25 minutes to go for the result declaration, the websites have crashed. This could happen while the result is being uploaded but this can cause trouble for the students who are awaiting the result.

Under the Mukhyamantri Medhabruti Puraskar Yojana, the Odisha governmet will award Rs 5,000 each to the top 100 students. The scholarships will be given to around 40,000 students. The scheme was launched last year for the student of Class 10th. A total of 100 students will be selected by the government from each block and municipal corporation, 50 from each municipality and 20 from each NAC to provide the benefit of CM’s Merit Scholarship.
