Jharkhand Academic Council announces 12th Arts results 2019; Girls outshine boys

NEW DELHI: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Tuesday announced class 12 Arts stream results 2019 on board’s official website. The candidates who have appeared for the JAC class 12 Arts examination are advised to visit the official website of JAC- jac.nic.in- to download their results.
The overall pass percentage of the JAC class 12 Arts examination 2019 is 79.97%. Last year it was 72.62%.This year also, Girls outshined boys as their pass percentage stood at 81.50%, while boys pass percentage recorded at 77.91%. This year 1,84,384 candidates registered for JAC Class 12 Arts stream while 1,47,468 passed in the examination. A total of 78,386 boys had appeared while 1,05,998 girls have appeared for the JAC class 12 Arts examination.
The results were announced at a press conference which was held at JAC office. JAC Chairman Arvind Prasad Singh announced the class 12 Arts results 2019 in attendance of secretary Mahip Kumar Singh. Soon after the announcement, the results were made available at the board’s official website.
A total of 18,130 candidates have got first division, 96,724 candidates were awarded with second division, and 32,597 candidates got third division in the JAC class 12 Arts examination.
District wise pass percentage
Simdega district recorded the highest pass percentage with 97.67% candidates qualified for the higher studies. Khunti district got the second highest district with a pass percentage of 96.17%, and Ramgarh district stood the third position with a pass percentage of 92.29%.
