HYDERABAD: Dismissing the exit poll outcome, TPCC treasurer Gudur Narayana Reddy on Tuesday said the victory of Congress-led UPA is a certainty.
He said BJP alone had won 282 seats in 2014 elections when the image of Narendra Modi was its peak. “How can BJP-led NDA cross 300-seat mark now when the Modi-led government has failed in its five-year rule,” Narayana wondered. Stating that there was no wave in favour of BJP or Modi, he said people were impressed and influenced by Modi’s promises like depositing Rs 15 lakh in their accounts, giving two crore jobs every year, etc, in the last elections.
He said it would be curtains for ‘stunts’ of Modi and his BJP government would fall on May 23 when the exact poll results would be announced.
He said the Congress would win the elections and Rahul Gandhi would be next Prime Minister.
