PATNA: After the exit polls, party workers are busy betting on how much seats their respective candidates would get in Bihar when the Lok Sabha election results are declared on Ma 23.
Those at BJP state headquarters were quite upbeat on Tuesday and the party workers were busy with preparations for the saffron victory. BJP spokesperson Sanjay Singh Tiger said the elections results will be better than the exit polls.
“Narendra Modi will become Prime Minister once again. We will form our government will a huge margin. The exit polls are just a trailer. The Grand Alliance will see a bigger picture on May 23,” he said.
Regional incharge of BJP IT cell, Anand Raj, said, “We are upbeat over the exit polls and have already started preparations to celebrate our victory. Meetings are being held after the last phase of polling on Sunday and party workers were assigned works,” he said.
However, JD(U) headquarters, which was only a few yards away from the BJP office, wore a deserted look on Tuesday.
At RJD office, people were looking unhappy. Party’s state general secretary Kumar Rahul Singh, who held a meeting with party workers, said, “We are trying to boost the morale of our party workers and asked them not to pay heed to exit polls. The media has only created the hype,” he said and added: “Most of our workers are keeping watch on the EVMs.”
An LED screen will be set up at RJD office on May 22 for the party workers to watch the results live on May 23.

Vikassheel Insaan Party chief Mukesh Sahni alleged that the NDA was trying to tamper with the EVMs. “I have asked all party workers in Muzaffarpur, Khagaria and Madhubani to keep a watch on any incident related to EVMs,” he said and added, “What we predict is different from the exit polls.”
HAM(S) spokesperson Danish Rizwan said his party workers were more concerned about safeguarding the VVPATs at strongrooms across the state. “We will celebrate in a grand way once the results are out,” he said.
