HYDERABAD: In a huge relief to Hyderabad L&T metro rail,
a vacation bench of the
Telangana high court on Wednesday suspended two judicial orders pertaining to a
food court at
hi-tech metro mall at Madhapur.
The bench of Justice MS Ramachandra Rao and Justice A Rajashekher Reddy gave two interim directions while hearing the pleas moved by L &T.
Following disputes, the food court licensee, Urban Asia restaurants Pvt Ltd, earlier approached the civil court charging the L & T with harassing it through power disconnection.
The civil court granted injunction and restrained the L & T from interfering in the installing of food court in the metro mall. When that was not implemented, the food court made a complaint to Madhapur police. Charging the police with not registering their complaint and also with not implementing the court order, the food court later approached the high court. A single judge earlier directed the police to register an FIR and investigate.
L & T challenged these two orders and the vacation bench suspended both injunction and FIR orders.
