(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka : Hotel Sarina Dhaka is offering a delectable iftar buffet cum dinner during the holy month of Ramadan at their Summerfields restaurant.
For a very nominal price, they are giving 100+ items this year which includes traditional, desi, international - Indian, Iranian, Thai and Japanese cuisines.
There are different main courses which are all assorted- Indian, Chinese, Continental etc. The centre of attraction in the menu is the Khabsa rice which is a famous Arabian rice. Sometimes they make it with lamb and sometimes they make it with chicken.
The hotel has also organised live cooking stations where guests can come and enjoy live cooking as well as get fresh culinary dishes.
"We try our utmost to keep the dishes fresh. Thus, we have brought live cooking stations. Due to which, there is less wastage and the guests can delight themselves with fresh dishes. We believe in cooking pure authentic dishes as per need. And there is the added entertainment of enjoy watching live cooking as well," said Mohammed Ayub Khan, Manager- Food and Beverage, Hotel Sarina Dhaka.
The live Chinese station is where the Chinese chef makes the Chinese food for the guests. They keep on changing the dishes on a daily basis. One day, they have noodles, the other day rice or fish or chicken.
On the other hand, the live Japanese station features the Japanese chef who is an expert in sashimi and sushi. There are several kinds of sashimi and sushi that the chef prepares for the guests live, such as pink salmon, Norway salmon, big shrimps, tiger prawns etc with different fruits assorted like mango, kiwi and many more.
There is also a Lebanese counter too which is called the Shawarma. It serves delicious Lebanese dishes of all kinds.
Not to mention, to provide a more local vibe, the hotel has placed a jalebi station for making saffron jalebis live. Guests can take as per their choice.
There is a salad bar too for both national and international salads. They have above 26 items of fresh salads.
They have 5 different kind of soft beverages. Among them, two is fresh, one is Rooh Afza and the other one is fresh coconut water. Three of them, they keep on changing for the canned juices like lemonade, lassi etc.
There is also a fruit counter which has a huge international fruit collection consisting of dragon, pomegranate, kiwi, mango, apple and many more.
To put the icing on the cake, the dessert section includes national, international and traditional desserts of all sorts. There they have misti doi (sweet yogurt), chire, mahalabaya, basbusa, caramel custard, umm ali etc.
The iftar menu also features mouth-watering mutton halim with condiments and jalebis. Daily treats will offer many other iftar munchies for the guests.
The hotel offers sehri too. The menu for sehri is much lighter.
They have a seating capacity of 150 in both outlets.
The buffet iftar cum dinner is available everyday from sunset till 10 pm at BDT 3699 net and sehri buffet everyday from 1 am till fajr at BDT 2000 net.
The hotel also provides home delivery service to nearby areas- Banani, DOHS and Gulshan.
