Patna Sahib Constituency Election Result: Ravi Shankar Prasad defeats Shatrughan Sinha

Patna Sahib: Ravi Shankar Prasad from BJP is won against Shatrughan Sinha from Indian National Congress in Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituency according to the latest trends.
After the latest round of counting, Ravi Shankar Prasad has received 6,04,956 votes while his Congress rival Shatrughan Sinha has got 3,21,840 number of votes.
Overall, the BJP won 299 seats and is leading in 4 seats, while the Congress won 52 constituencies, as per trends at 11:16 AM.

Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituency being one of the most popular constituencies in Bihar went for polling on May 19 in the final phase of the elections. The main battle was between Congress’ Shatrughan Sinha, who left BJP and joined the Congress party prior to elections, and Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad from the Bharatiya Janta Party, who holds Ministries of Law & Justice and Electronics & Information Technology.
Patna Sahib Lok Sabha Constituency was created in 2008, and since then, BJP has been winning this seat. In the last Lok Sabha elections, Shatrughan Sinha, then of BJP won against Kunal Singh from Congress with huge margins.
