Nizamabad Constituency Election Result: TRS's K Kavita loses Nizamabad seat to BJP's first-time candidate D Arvindh

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's daughter K Kavita defeated from Nizamabad parliamentary constituency by the BJP's first-time candidate D Arvindh with a margin of 70,875 votes.

NIZAMABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's daughter K Kavita defeated from Nizamabad parliamentary constituency by the BJP's first-time candidate D Arvindh with a margin of 70,875 votes.
Overall, BJP won 303 seats while the Congress party has been declared victorious on 52 seats. Telangana Rashtra Samithi has won 9 seats.
Nizamabad Lok Sabha Constituency
A politically significant seat in Telangana, the Nizamabad constituency is currently represented by Kalvakuntla Kavitha, daughter of Telangana chief minister and TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao.
In 2014 General Elections, she defeated Congress candidate Madhu Yaskhi Goud by more than 1.5 lakh votes.
This time, TRS MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha is contesting from the constituency. Congress has fielded Madhu Yashki Guud while the BJP's D. Aravind is also in the fray.
