Thrissur: TN Prathapan of the UDF won against Rajaji Mathew Thomas of the CPI in Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency.
After the latest round of counting, Rajaji Mathew Thomas has received 3,21,456 votes while his UDF rival TN Prathapan has got 4,15,089 of votes.
Overall, the BJP won 302 seats, while the Congress won 52 seat and is leading in 49 constituencies, as per trends at 01:27 PM.

Currently, Thrissur Lok Sabha Constituency of Kerala state is held by CPI candidate CN Jayadevan who successfully defeated KP Dhanapalan of Congress in the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections by receiving a huge number of votes.
