Kannur: K Sudhakaran of Congress wins against Sreemathi of CPI (M) in Kannur Lok Sabha constituency. After the latest round of counting, Sreemathi has received 4,35,182 votes while her Congress rival K Sudhakaran has got 5,29,741 of votes.
Overall, the BJP won 302 seats, while the Congress won 52 seat as per trends at 01:08 PM.

In 2014 Elections, CPI (M) candidate PK Sreemathi won against congress’s K Sudhakaran by receiving a maximum number of votes cast in Kannur constituency during last Lok Sabha elections. Sreemathi who is sitting MP hopes to retain the seat in 2019 in the constituency.
