Kannur Election Result 2019: K Sudhakaran won

Kannur: K Sudhakaran of Congress wins against Sreemathi of CPI (M) in Kannur Lok Sabha constituency. After the latest round of counting, Sreemathi has received 4,35,182 votes while her Congress rival K Sudhakaran has got 5,29,741 of votes.
Overall, the BJP won 302 seats, while the Congress won 52 seat as per trends at 01:08 PM.

Lok Sabha Election in Kannur of Kerala state took place on April 23 during the third phase of General Elections 2019.Being one of the significant constituencies in Kerala, candidates like Sreemathi of CPI(M), Congress' K Sudhakaran and CK Padmanabhan of BJP were on the battlefield against each other.
In 2014 Elections, CPI (M) candidate PK Sreemathi won against congress’s K Sudhakaran by receiving a maximum number of votes cast in Kannur constituency during last Lok Sabha elections. Sreemathi who is sitting MP hopes to retain the seat in 2019 in the constituency.
