Nakul Nath wins Chhindwara LS seat; BJP bags Dhar, Vidisha

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamal Nath's son, Nakul Nath of the Congress, on Thursday won the Chhindwara Lok Sabha seat.
Nakul Nath, who fought his maiden Lok Sabha poll, defeated BJP's Nathansaha Kawreti by a margin of 37,536 votes.
Kamal Nath, a former Union minister, had won the seat in 2014.
BJP candidate Chhattarsingh Darbar defeated Congresss Dinesh Girwal by a margin of 1,56,029 votes from the Dhar (ST) seat.

In Vidisha, Ramakant Bhargava of the BJP defeated Congress nominee Shailendra Patel by a staggering margin of 5,03,084 votes.
In the 2014 polls, External Affairs Minister and BJP leader Sushma Swaraj had won from Vidisha by a margin of 4,10,698 votes.
