TRS wins 9 MP seats, BJP 4, Cong 3, MIM one

Hyderabad: The TRS today won 9 MP seats out of 16 fought, while the BJP won four and the congress three in the polls on counting day. The TRS candidate Ranjith Reddy won Chevella LS segment and defeated Congress candidate Konda Vishweshwar Reddy. Ranjit Reddy got 14400 votes on the congress candidate. With this the total LS seats won by TRS are nine including those won in other segments. From Nagar Kurnool LS segment, P Ramulu won on TRS ticket.

The TRS candidate from Khammam, Nama Nageshwar Rao won the fray with comfortable majority of 1.60 lakh votes. From Mahabubnagar LS seat TRS candidate M Srinivas Reddy won the polls and defeated BJP candidate DK Aruna and Congress Vamshichand Reddy. Other TRS candidates won are N Venkateshwarlu from Peddapally by getting 78096 votes on congress candidate Chandrasekhar. Also TRS leaders won are P Dayakar from Warangal, K Prabhakar Reddy from Medak with 3,11,322 votes and P Ramulu in Nagar Kurnool respectively. S Babu Rao the TRS MP candidate won Adilabad segment.
