Maharashtra: NCP's Udyanraje Bhosale becomes richest winning candidate

NCP's Udyanraje Bhosale from Satara becomes the richest winning candidate with a total asset worth Rs 200 crore. While, Shiv Sena candidate from Hingoli, Hemant Patil, is the poorest winning candidate with a declared asset worth Rs 1.85 crore.

MUMBAI: NCP's Udyanraje Bhosale from Satara becomes the richest winning candidate in the Lok Sabha polls with a total asset worth Rs 200 crore. Shiv Sena candidate from Hingoli, Hemant Patil, is the poorest winning candidate with a declared asset worth Rs 1.85 crore.
Bhosale defeated Shiv Sena's Narendra Patil by a robust margin of 1.24 lakh votes. Bhosale who is the 13th descendent of Maratha warrior-king Shivaji will be a third-term MP.
As per his affidavit, he has declared Rs 185 crore as immovable assets and Rs 13 crore as moveable assets.
NCP supremo's daughter Supriya Sule who is a winning candidate from Baramati is the second richest candidate with a declared asset of Rs 140 crore. Sule who was tailing in the first few rounds defeated BJP candidate Kanchan Kool with a margin of 1.55 lakh.
BJP's Madha winner Dhananjay Naik Nimbalkar has asset of Rs 127 crore. Sena's Maval candidate Shrirang Barne has declared Rs 102 crore as his worth. Sena's Mumbai South Central seat winner Rahul Shewale is one of the poorest candidates with an asset declaration of Rs 1.88 crore. Other Sena winner's Shrikant Shinde in Thane has declared Rs 1.96 crore assets and Mumbai South candidate Arvind Sawant is worth Rs 2 crore.
