Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man who has repeatedly raped his daughter was arrested by the Malkajgiri police on Friday.
The accused, K. Raju, 30, was caught red-handed by his wife when he was sexually assaulting their second daughter on May 21, police said. The couple has four daughters.
The girl on being asked by the mother informed her that her father had sexual assaulted her twice.
Raju, a resident of Moula Ali, works as a labourer and his wife runs a tea stall in Kushaiguda.
The couple has four daughters aged five, six, 12 and 13.
According to the Malkajgiri police, on the day of the incident, the girl’s mother reached home at about 10 pm. She found her second daughter missing and her husband was not seen.
She entered the bedroom to find Raju semi-naked with his daughter. Raju ran away on seeing his wife.
The girl then told her mother of previous assaults by her father, and how he had threatened her against complaining to anyone. Based on the woman’s complaint, the police registered a case and arrested Raju.
