Cop, gangster injured in encounter

A Delhi Police sub-inspector and a gangster sustained injuries in an encounter in Kanjhawala on Friday evening, the police said.

DCP (Special Cell) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav said that the accused has been identified as Ankit Dabas (20) who was involved in the Dwarka shoot-out in which two criminals were killed.

The police said that the encounter took place around 7.45 p.m. on Kanjhawala Bawana road in which S-I Kishan sustained injuries when the accused fired at the police party.
