Web platform for sick MSEs launched in Telangana
HYDERABAD: In a first, Telangana Industrial Health Clinic Limited (TIHCL) on Friday launched I-Health, an online platform meant for micro and small enterprises (MSEs), in partnership with Microsoft. This online platform will allow sick MSEs to register themselves for support from TIHCL in case their financial condition is not doing well and bank linkages not happening.
Jayesh Ranjan, principal secretary, industries, said banks can share the platform for effective revival of companies and partner with TIHCL to prevent the units turn sick.

“After fully closing a unit for several years, it cannot be revived. TIHCL will ensure that preventive steps are introduced well in time to save the unit from falling sick,” he said.
Officials said factors responsible for sickness in manufacturing MSEs may include obsolete technology, non-availability of skilled manpower, poor engagement, diversion of funds, lack of entrepreneurship, professionalism, marketing problems, and the like.
