​Operation Lotus to start from Belagavi, says Angadi

BELAGAVI: MP Suresh Angadi claimed many Congress leaders are in contact with state BJP president BS Yeddyurappa and the saffron party’s national leadership and suggested many could switch sides. Angadi, who was elected for the fourth time, said a number of Congress legislators from Belagavi district will soon join the BJP.
He suggested Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi is certain of joining, while also thanking Jarkiholi for helping him win since he got a big lead from the assembly constituency.
He predicted a major change in Karnataka politics in the coming weeks.
“He (Ramesh) is impressed with the working style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi," he said.
