Four members of the same family have been confirmed dead and another still missing after a neighbour’s wall fence collapsed on their house in Seguku, off Entebbe road, following the Sunday morning downpour.

"A neighbour's hard core fence fell on to my uncle's house killing all the five members... The only person who survived is Sheikh Adinan who had gone for Subuhi prayers. Right now, well wishers are still digging out the remaining boy who's still missing. Five of them have died including kids and their mum," one Ashburg Katto posted on his Facebook wall on Sunday.

When contacted by this reporter, Kampala Metropolitan deputy police spokesperson, Mr Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed the 5am incident saying they received reports that a wall fence had collapsed on the house of Sheikh Adinan Mujiraneza killing some of the members of his family, including his wife and three kids.
He said at the time of the accident, Sheikh Adinan had gone to the mosque for morning prayers.
“Our fire brigade have managed to retrieve four bodies so far. One is still buried in the rubble. We can’t confirm whether he’s dead or alive,” Mr Owoyesigyire said.

He identified the deceased as Aisha Nassali Adinan, Prosper Adinan, Promise Adinan and Umaria Adinan.
“Huzaifa Muzanganda is the one buried in the rubble. We are doing all we can to get him,” Mr Owoyesigyire said.
