The Directorate of Medical Education has called for online registration of application for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses in state quota in government colleges and self-financing medical colleges affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr M G R Medical University.

CHENNAI: The Directorate of Medical Education has called for online registration of application for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses in state quota in government colleges and self-financing medical colleges affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr M G R Medical University.
The link for online registrations is available on the state health department website (http://www.tnhealth.org/) and state selection committee website (https://tnmedicalselection.net/).

Government medical colleges, including Madras Medical College, have set up information kiosks to help students fill in forms online.
In districts that don’t have government medical colleges, assistance of the TFC (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Facilitation Centre) will be available at Murugappa Polytechnic College in Tiruvallur, Government College of Engineering in Krishnagiri, NKR Government Arts College for Women in Namakkal, Government Arts College in the Nilgiris, Chikkanna Government Arts College in Tirupur, Government Arts College in Ramanathapuram, GTN Arts College in Dindigul, Government Polytechnic College in Ariyalur, Valivalam Desikar Polytechnic College in Nagapattinam , Government Polytechnic College in Perambalur, V V Vanniya Perumal College for Women in Virudhunagar, Rajah Muthiah Medical College in Chidambaram and IRT Perundurai Medical College Erode.
The last date for online submission of application is June 20 (till 5pm). The last date for submission of the hard copy of the filled-in online application form is June 21 (till 5pm).
Copies of the online applications will have to be sent to the Secretary, Selection Committee, 162, Periyar EVR High Road, Kilpauk, Chennai -10.
Besides qualifying in NEET 2019 and clearing Class XII board exams, candidates should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should complete that age on or before December 31 of that year.
The rank list is likely to be declared on July 2. Tentative date of declaration of rank list is July 2. The first phase of counselling is likely to begin by July 15. Colleges will open by August 1 and admissions will close by August 18.
