Two shot dead, two injured in land dispute in Aligarh

Two persons were allegedly shot dead and two others were critically injured during a clash over a land dispute in a village Kore Rahupura under Barla police jurisdiction in Aligarh on Monday.

AGRA: Two persons were allegedly shot dead and two others were critically injured during a clash over a land dispute in a village Kore Rahupura under Barla police jurisdiction in Aligarh on Monday.
According to police, the incident occurred around 2pm when one group of people forcibly tried to take possession of a piece of land from another group by claiming its ownership.
Police said during the clash, two persons, Sheruddin Khan (70) and Khillu Khan (42) were critically injured.
They were immediately rushed to a medical college but both succumbed to their injuries during treatment. While two other persons, Ikram and Riazuddin are admitted in a hospital in a critical condition.
Superintendent of police (rural) Manilal Patidar said that a case would be registered under relevant sections of IPC.
