Six drown in Firozabad on Ganga Dussehra

Six persons, including two brothers, drowned in separate incidents on Wednesday while taking a holy dip on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra.

AGRA: Six persons, including two brothers, drowned in separate incidents on Wednesday while taking a holy dip on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra.
In Maalipatti village of Basai Mohammadpur police jurisdiction, a 16-year-old boy, identified as Pinkesh, drowned in the Yamuna while he had gone to take bath along with his four siblings. His body was retrieved by locals.
Similarly in Shahjadpur of Nasipur police jurisdiction, a 10-year-old girl, Shivani, drowned while taking a dip in the Yamuna.
Her body was yet to be found at the time of going to press.
In another case, a private tutor, identified as Rahul Rawat (25), drowned in Jeda canal when he had gone to take bath along with his friends.
Similarly, two brothers - Akhilesh (20) and Sachin (18) of Tundla - drowned in Budda canal of Shikohabad.
