Visakhapatnam: 15 injured after vehicle overturns on Ghat Road

VISAKHAPATNAM: As many as 15 people sustained injuries when an SUV they were travelling in overturned on Urugonda Ghat Road in Vizag agency on Thursday.
The incident took place when a group of people was returning from a weekly market (shandy) in the vehicle.
As per the reports, the driver of the overcrowded SUV lost control over the vehicle when he was negotiating through a sharp turn on Ghat Road.The vehicle slid into a ditch and overturned.
The injured persons were shifted to a government hospital at Paderu for treatment where the condition of two of the passengers is said to be critical. The police have registered a case in this regard and investigation is on.
