Madhu Chopra enjoyed a cosy family dinner in Boston with Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.
Madhu Chopra, who turned a year older on Monday (June 17), rang in her birthday with daughter Priyanka Chopra and son-in-law Nick Jonas. The trio celebrated the happy occasion with a special dinner in Boston.
Chopra Sr took to her Instagram account to share a picture of their cozy family dinner. "A memorable birthday in Boston. Thank you family," she captioned the click, which has garnered thousands of likes on the photoblogging site.
On Monday, Priyanka shared a picture with Madhu and thanked her for unwaveringly supporting her through everything. "Best birthday girl ever. I love you. Thank you for being my rock," the actress wrote.
She also shared a boomerang video of her mother feeding her cake and wrote, "Birthday cakes! My fave.. @madhumalati #familyfirst #travelbug."
On the work front, Priyanka recently wrapped up the shoot of Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink in Mumbai. The film tells the inspirational story of Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.
Priyanka was so blown away by the story that she came on board as one of the producers. "This movie is special to me on so many levels. Not just because Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala partnered with me on my first Hindi production, but also took the chance on me to bring to life a character and a true story that needed to be told," she wrote in an Instagram post.
"Farhan Akhtar you made an amazing co-actor all over again, with all the laughter and fun! ...And my amazing Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf, who I’ve made friends for life with! This was the hardest loveliest experience. Thank you Shonali Bose for your incredibly unique vision. I’m so proud of your faith in me. Thank you so much to Our crew who worked tirelessly for 10 months to make this special piece of cinema. I love you all," she added.
The Sky Is Pink will hit the theatres on October 11 this year.
