Suryapet: A married woman with her throat slit was found lying dead in the bed she was sleeping on in the open place of her house in Kesram village of Suryapet Mandal.
The neighbours spotted her on Wednesday morning. The crime is speculated to have been taken place on late Tuesday night, TT reports.
The victim was identified as Bayya Ramanamma (35) married to Veeraiah. The villagers suspect her missing husband behind the crime.
Suryapet Rural police have reached the place and took up investigation.
