Around 1.45 am, the family members noticed the baby was missing and started searching for her. Both police and locals, including family members, formed search teams and it was the girl’s uncle who noticed the accused carrying a baby covered with a towel. The baby was rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared her ‘brought dead’.
