While four of them are undergoing treatment at the SKMCH, the fifth one has been admitted to KMS. There has been no report of any casualty since Sunday evening,” Muzaffarpur civil surgeon Shailesh Prasad Singh said.
He said the death toll remained at 152. The condition of two patients at the SKMCH and one at the KMS was stated to be serious. “All the three serious patients are under the observation of medical experts,” he told this newspaper over phone.
Meanwhile, a team of officials comprising the civil surgeon and senior deputy collector Monika Thakur visited the Mahadalit Tola under Marwan block in Muzaffarpur district to create awareness among the members of this economically backward community.
