Telangana: 1,036 Medical vacant posts to be filled in on ‘permanent basis’

Hyderabad: Here’s some good news for medical practitioners, graduates in State as the government has given a green signal to fill in 1,036 vacant posts on a permanent basis for upcoming medical colleges in Nalgonda and Suryapet.

Accordingly, 1,036 vacant posts are to be filled with 132 posts assigned for Assistant Professors while remaining 904 vacant posts are to be filled with paramedical staff, other non-clinical gazetted posts for the new upcoming medical colleges, TT reports.

The authorities have confirmed 518 vacant posts each have been allotted to the Nalgonda and Suryapet medical colleges.

The recruitment to fill in these posts will be conducted by the Departmental Selection Committee (DSC).

The State government has directed the Health Medical and Family Welfare Department and the DME, Hyderabad, to duly follow the rule of reservation, provisions of the Presidential Order and the provisions of the service rules applicable, while filling the vacant posts.

On Monday, the State government also gave a green signal to fill 24 posts of professors, assistant and associate professors for Mahabubnagar medical college.
