Maharashtra: Rave party, prostitution racket bused in Raigad at bungalow; 16 arrested

NAVI MUMBAI: The Raigad local crime branch team has busted a rave party and a prostitution racket at a bungalow under the jurisdiction of Mandwa police station in Maharashtra on Thursday night.
The crime branch team of 25 policemen raided the bungalow after sending two decoy cops posing as customers. Two organisers of the rave party, identified as Rakhi Notani and Ranjeeta Singh alias Renu, were found in possession of cocaine weighing 15 grams and 11 grams respectively.The cops arrested nine customers accompanying them at the rave party, including three woman, and rescued seven women who were hired for prostitution.
Raigad superintendent of police Anil Paraskar said, “There were no Bollywood celebrities, actors or actresses at the bungalow that was raided by Raigad crime branch team and these are rumours being spread on social media.”
