Stray bull gores farmer to death in Firozabad district

AGRA: A 35-year-old farmer was gored to death by a stray bull on Monday early morning in remote village of Firozabad district.
Identified as Satyapal Yadav, resident of Jeda village of Eka police jurisdiction, the victim was guarding his rice farm field, when stray bull barged inside his farm and attacked him.
According to police, victim was father of two children including six-year-old daughter and four-year-old son.
“He was guarding the farm field when bull attacked him. Satyapal was flung in the air by bull with his horn and then pounced on with hoof,” said SHO Brijesh Kumar Singh of Eka.
Later, victim’s body was sent for autopsy.
Shivom Tiwari, district president of Bharitya Kisan Union (Bhanu group) visited victim’s village and demanded for compensation for the family.
Nearly 16 person including children have been killed in stray cattle attack in Western UP districts since September 2018.

March 18, 2019 a 40-year-old farmer died after being gored by a raging bull in a village in Mohammadi block of Lakhimpur Kheri district.
February 11, 2019, a 30-year-old man heading for night duty on motor-bike was attacked near a cold storage at Nandgaon road of Pinhat police jurisdiction.

February 9, 2019, a 42-year-old man was in killed by bull in Sewla Gorwa village of Fatehabad police jurisdiction, while he was guarding his farm field from stray cattle.
On February 7, 2019, a 52-year-old farmer was gored to death by a bull in Nagla Nathua village of Jasrana police jurisdiction of Firozabad district.
On February 2, a 66-year-old farmer was run over by a train while trying to chase a bovine away from his agricultural land in Bhadrauli village under the jurisdiction of Pinhat police station.
On January 27, a 55-year-old farmer was gored to death by a bull in Neemgaon area of Lakhimpur Kheri.
On January 26, a stray bull had killed another farmer in Badaun district’s Mugara Jarasi village.
On January 21, a 63-year-old man was gored to death by a bull in Peeplikheda area, under Khairagarh police jurisdiction, while the victim was walking back to home with a grocery bag.
On January 20, a 45-year-old farmer from Mathura climbed a tree and threatened to commit suicide after stray cattle destroyed his crop.
On January 19, a 62-year-old farmer of Bhilawali village of Kheragarh died of a cardiac arrest , after stray cattle destroyed his two bigah of wheat farm field, He had taken a loan from a bank to sow the crop.
On December 27, 2018, a 22-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle collided with bull on Fatehabad road in Sadar police jurisdiction.
On December 28, 2018 day, a 30-year-old man was killed after his bike rammed a herd of strays in Bah.
On December 5, 2018, stray cattle attacked an eight-year-old, injuring him at Bhakinpur village under Fatehabad police jurisdiction.
On December 2, a seven-year-old was gored to death by a bull in Barhan.
On September 22, 2018 night, four men were killed after a cow crossing NH-2 near Vikas Khand office in Firozabad district collided with an ambulance.
