Karnataka: Youth falls off cliff while taking selfie at Charmadi Ghat, video goes viral

A youth fell off the cliff and got injured while clicking a selfie at Charmadi Ghat in Belthangady taluk of Karnataka’s Chikkamagaluru. The video of the fatal accident has gone viral on social media. The man reportedly climbed the seasonal waterfall at Charmadi Ghat and fell off while clicking a selfie. The man was taken to the hospital by passersby and his health condition is said to be critical. Selfie craze among youth has resulted in several such incidents in the recent past.
