NEW DELHI: A gang of robbers that had waylaid a businessman outside a bank in Rohini and fled with Rs 17 lakh was busted by Delhi Police's Crime Branch on Monday.
The four accused - Sukhram, Lalit, Robin and Rohit Kumar - were involved in several other robberies, police said.
On June 29, the gang had rammed a bike with the victim's scooter parked outside a bank near Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar and robbed him of the cash.

DCP (Crime) Rajesh Deo said a team formed to nab the biker gang was tipped off about their movement, based on which Robin, Rohit and Lalit were nabbed. "We recovered more than Rs 16 lakh from them and arrested the fourth accused after interrogating them," he said.
During interrogation, police also found that the motorcycle used for the crime was stolen from Mangolpuri.
