A South-Delhi school principal was arrested yesterday for allegedly raping one of the female teachers repeatedly, and threatening her for two years.
The 27-year-old victim approached the Sarita Vihar police station on June 3, and informed about the crime that took place inside the school premises.
Notably, an FIR has been lodged against the accused, Rakesh Singh, and further investigation is underway.

Arrest
While talking to ANI, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Chinmoy Biswal, said, "We received a complaint in Sarita Vihar Police Station from the victim on Wednesday that she was being raped in the school premises and threatened by her school principal since the last few years."
"We have arrested the accused, identified as Rakesh Singh, soon after recording the statement of the victim," he added.
Accused confessed to his crime during interrogation, says DCP

He further said, "During interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime. He was booked for threatening and raping the woman teacher." The victim, who is a resident of Jasola, narrated everything she was going through to her family. Subsequently, they reached out to the police.
Called to office on pretext of conducting extra class, raped
Details
As per the reports, the victim was first assaulted in 2017.
The accused had called her to his office on the pretext of conducting extra classes after school.
However, once she reached his office, he took her to a room where he made her have a "sedative-laced soft drink."
The woman eventually lost her consciousness, which allowed Singh to move forward with his ill-deeds.
Singh threatened the victim with a nude video of hers
Threats
Further, Singh not only assaulted her when she was in an unconscious state, he also made a nude video of her.
"He later threatened her with dire consequences and that he would make her video viral on social media if she did not comply with his demands. He had been sexually assaulting her on various occasions till June this year," the DCP informed further.
Victim has also named two female teachers in the FIR
Fact
The victim, in her FIR, has also named two more female teachers pertaining to the crime. She has alleged that the two not only helped Singh in committing the horrific crime, but also forced her to have an abortion after she got pregnant.
