Three missing boys in Nizamabad found dead in trench
HYDERABAD: Three boys of a Government Urdu School at Nagaram village in Nizamabad district, who went missing on Friday afternoon, were found dead in a trench on Saturday morning.
Nizamabad V Town Police said that Mohammed Azhar (8), Arbaaz Khan (7), and Shaik Shoaib (7), went to school on Friday. In the afternoon, the boys left the school during the lunch break to give prayers.

When the boys didn’t return home in the evening, the family members got worried and contacted the school authorities. To the shock of the parents, the authorities told them that the three boys had left the school in the afternoon and hadn’t returned.
After a search for the boys went in vain, the parents approached the police and lodged a missing complaint.
On Saturday early morning, a local found a body floating in a trench located behind the Government Urdu School.
The cops were called to investigate. They found that that the body is of one of the missing children and called the parents, who confirmed that it was Shoaib. The police immediately pressed in swimmers to look for the other missing boys.
“The trench is about 15 feet deep. Both the swimmers and policemen found Azhar and Arbaaz in the water,’’ said sub inspector Jan Reddy. The police are not sure how the boys got into the trench. They suspect that the boys might have entered the water while playing and drowned.

According to cops, the drench has been behind the Government Urdu School for more than 10 years. They said that the trench had been dug by locals for various purposes.
Police registered a case under section 304 a (negligence causing death) of the Indian Penal Code.
