Undertrial escapes from Aligarh court

AGRA: An undertrial in a murder case, Raees, managed to escape from police custody when he was brought to the district court in Aligarh on Monday.
A resident of Bulandsahar district, Raees had been remanded to judicial custody in 2015 for allegedly killing his wife.
Circle Officer, Anil Samaniya, said, 150 prisoners were to be produced on Monday in the court and 18 police personnel were deployed to manage them but the prisoner somehow escaped from their custody.He added a case has been registered in connection with the escape and searches are underway to track him down.
