Mysuru: As many as 16 brand new desktop computers have been burgled from a government school in Hinkal recently.
The computers have been taken away after breaking open the window grills.
Pramila, headmistress, of the government high school, Hinkal, has complained to Vijayanagar police claiming she locked the rooms around 12 noon on July 6. It was on Saturday.
When she returned early on Monday, on July 7, she noticed that the window of the computer lab was open. Later she found the 16 Lenovo all in one computer were missing and window grills were broken.
Computers are valued at Rs 6.63 lakhs, according to the complaint.
