HYDERABAD: The
ministry of external affairs has said that the body of a worker from Nizamabad, Telangana, who died of a heart attack in
Iraq, will soon be transported to India.
Responding to a request from
Nizamabad MP Arvind Dharmpuri, MEA said the Consulate General of India (CGI), Erbil would make arrangements for early transportation of the mortal remains.
The BJP MP tweeted details of the 47-year-old
Muppeda Gangaram from Velmal, Nizambad who had died of heart attack in Iraq, Erbil, Shorash.
He also provided his office number.
“Family was told it would take several weeks or months for the body to reach India. Please render help in bringing his body,” he said.
According to a letter of Velmal village sarpanch M Sayamma, Muppeda Gangaram had died on July 8.
