A first time MP from Telangana has taken to twitter asking people to bring to his notice issues that he can raise in parliament and he has got good response.

HYDERABAD: A first time MP from Telangana has taken to twitter asking people to bring to his notice issues that he can raise in parliament and he has got good response.
Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy of the Congress got elected to the Lok Sabha from Nalgonda and made his first 'intervention' during the proceedings on Tuesday. "My first intervention in the Lok Sabha today during Zero Hour on the non-fulfilment of assurances given to Telangana mentioned in the Bifurcation Act.

If you want me to raise any appropriate issues concerning you in the Lok Sabha, please do let me know," he said positing a video of him speaking in the Lok Sabha.

The 57-year-old may be first time MP but has been MLA for several times and also been a minister in undivided Andhra Pradesh. He also heads the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee. He is a former fighter pilot in the IAF.

Those who responded to Uttam Kumar Reddy’s tweet made several suggestions. A doctor, Jayaprakash Reddy, specifically asked him to raise the issue of violence on doctors, ask for sanction of a fluoride research centre at Choutuppal and doubling of railway track at Nalgonda, and Nagarkurnool-Mahbubnagar highway construction progress.
Sravan Kumar Gannarapu suggested that the issue of setting up of Kazipet coach factory be taken up as it has been pending with the Centre. Vijay asked for widening of road to four lane between Nalgonda-Nagarjunasagar and Nalgonda-Devarkonda.

“Please get some companies or SEZs for Nalgonda to provide employment to unemployed youth,” another asked. One more person asked Uttam Kumar Reddy to represent about an IIM and Agricultural University to Nalgonda district.
Abhinav asked him to get national project status for Kaleshwaram project and also raise the issue about SLBC and ring road highway in Nalgonda.
Umar Shervani was impressed with Uttam Kumar Reddy asking for suggestions. “Uttam Sb, first such kind of tweet I have seen MP saying tell me issues I will highlight. Thanks for being people representative in true sense. Please ask govt how many cases of mob lynchings reported and how many culprits arrested. What govt plans to do on stopping lynchings (sic).”
