Mitsubishi invests in Gozek in Indonesia

New Delhi: Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MC) has announced that it is investing in Gozek, an Indonesia based app for ordering food, commuting, digital payments, shopping, hyper-local delivery utilizing their on-demand mobile platform.

Mitsbishi aims to create value from the nw mobility services in South-East Asia, claimed the Japanese company in a release.

Mitsubishi Motors and Mitsubishi Corporation will leverage from the Gozek platform that has been expanding fast in not only Indonesia, but in several South-East Asian countries.

Mitsubishi also plans to study the possibilities for various new mobility services in the region.

Speaking about the association, Andre Soelistyo, President of Gozek Group, said, “Gozek is proud to be partnering with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation."

He also added, "This investment is testament to the strength of the GOJEK vision to use technology as a means to improve the everyday lives of people in Southeast Asia."

However, financial terms of the investment of MMC in Gozek have not been disclosed yet.
